About the Show
Do you like all girl Rock and Metal bands? Perhaps you love the sound of a female fronted Symphonic Metal Band, like Nightwish or Epica. Do iconic names like Joan Jett, Doro and Lita Ford get your motor revved up? Then tune into Insane Realm Radio every Thursday and Saturday Nights for the Women of Metal Show and Join Jayson Shell as he explores the world of Female Fronted and All Female; Rock, Metal and Punk.
Jayson loves Female Rock and Metal and personally owns a cd/mp3 collection of Female Fronted and All Female Rock and Metal that has been called “quite impressive”. Jayson says “I have spent the bulk of my life gathering a very large collection of music from the ladies and I just want to share what I love with other like minded people. It’s very sad in my view how talented these ladies are and how they are largely ignored. If I can get one person to like one song from one band they have never heard before then I have done my job.”

I’ve been a Metal Head since I can remember. Starting with bands like Kiss, Van Halen, Motley Crue and Twisted Sister. Then one day I discovered Girlschool and that was it. I have been hooked on Female Bands and Female Fronted Band ever since. Some of my favorites include Kittie, OTEP, Raven X and Rock Goddess. There’s too many to list here.
As the co-owner of WomenofMetal.net I have been fortunate enough to converse with several female acts and I welcome the opportunity to introduce them to you on Insane Realm Radio.
Now don’t think my love of music begins and ends with Female Metal acts. I love all metal and will show up at any given time on the station to entertain you.
I also have a strong love for Indie Music and will be introducing you to some new bands along the way.
